🍋 This lemon pepper chicken stir-fry is one of our favorite stir-fry dishes in the summer!
It is quick and easy to cook, combined so well the tangy peppery taste and zing from the lemon. Only need 15 minutes to finish, A perfect meal for a busy weeknight.
Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients
- 5 chicken thighs
- 1 yellow bell pepper or green/red bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp canola oil
Chicken marinade
- 1 tsp shredded ginger
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Lemon pepper sauce
- Zest from 1 lemon
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 4 tbsp water
Instructions
- Cut chicken thighs into small cubes.
- To marinate the chicken, add 1 tsp of shredded ginger, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, ½ tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of soy sauce. Mix well. Then add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and mix it again.
- While the chicken is marinating, cut 1 yellow bell pepper and 1 onion into strips.
- For the lemon pepper stir-fried sauce: Add 2 tsp of lemon juice and some lemon zest, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of black pepper, half tsp of onion powder, 2 tbsp of minced garlic, 1 tsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of soy sauce, ¼ tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of corn starch. At last, we are going to add 4 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Heat up a pan at high heat. Add 1 tbsp of oil and chicken into the pan. Once the chicken is fully cooked, take it out from the pan and leave it on a plate for later use.
- In the same pan, saute the bell pepper and onion at high heat for about 30 seconds. Add chicken and the lemon pepper sauce in, stir well with the veggies.
- At the end, garnish with some lemon slices. Enjoy!
