Secondly, we gonna remove the eyes of the pineapple. Line your knife up, put
the knife at a 45-degree angle and chop in, and then switch to the other side and do the reverse 45-degree angle and chop it out.
Just flick via the wedge that comes out.

It might look complicated, but as we cut out 2-3 pineapple eyes at the same time, it only took us about three minutes to remove all the eyes.

Once remove all the eyes, the next step is to chop off the top and bottom parts. And then cut the pineapple into half, so we can kind of get access to the core.

In the end, remove the core and dice the pineapple into bite-size pieces.

When eating lots of pineapples, you’ll notice that your mouth feels pretty rough. It’s because pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, that breaks down proteins. Adding salt to the pineapple will neutralize this effect.

To prevent pineapple burn your mouth, just soak it into the water, add 1/4 tbsp of salt and soak it for ten minutes.

This small amount of salt won’t affect the flavor of the pineapple and it won’t burn your tongue.
